Purchasing Analyst

Cousin Corporation of America is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to join our growing team. The Purchasing Analyst collaborates with internal and external departments to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain. This position ensures that Cousin Corporation continues to exceed our customers’ expectations with high quality products and high order fill rates. This position reports to the Purchasing Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Analyze historical data and utilize forecasts to monitor and replenish inventory levels to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain and high fill rates for key customers
  • Create customized reports and analyze large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel
  • Enter, confirm, and receive purchase orders sent to international and domestic suppliers
  • Proactively coordinate with internal teams, freight brokers, and vendors to ensure that products are received correctly and on time
  • Work closely with the sales and design teams to accurately forecast future product demand
  • Display initiative, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control department to ensure that products continuously exceed customers’ expectations
  • Additional projects will be assigned regularly requiring your ability to work on your own and as part of a team to fulfill the requirements of the assignments
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Solid analytical and math skills
  • Ability to forecast trends and outliers in analyzing buying behaviors
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and responsibility in meeting deadlines and attaining goals
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively in a team environment
Minimum Requirements
  • Supply chain logistics experience is a plus
  • College Degree in Business, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience replenishing inventory for thousands of SKU’s for a consumer products company
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to work with multiple international suppliers

Amazon Account Manager

Cousin Corporation of America is currently seeking an experienced Amazon Account Manager to add to our growing and evolving Sales Department. The Amazon Account Manager will be responsible for growing our brands' presence on Amazon. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented, motivated and a persistent self-starter who strives for data driven results with an excellent attention to detail. This position reports to the Sales Support Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage product content catalog
  • Knowledge and ability to use Amazon template to upload products with variations
  • Create new product listings with associated attributes and descriptions that meet SEO best practices to increase current and new traffic
  • Review detail pages for consistency and accuracy
  • Manage customer reviews, increase good review counts and respond to any negative reviews
  • SKU and UPC management with brand registry
  • Use key metrics in Amazon's ranking algorithm to increase product popularity
  • Create strategies to increase sales on Amazon and analyze performance results
  • Full ownership of a discount/promotional calendar
  • Monitor and analyze ASIN performance, rankings, and ratings
  • Must be able to make data-driven decisions to calculate required fulfillment quantities based on demand, product and market analysis
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Solid understanding of shipping and fulfillment requirements for online marketplaces
  • Self-starter, able to think analytically and pursue maximum efficiency for data driven results
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to absorb and apply constructive feedback
  • Experience in women's lifestyle and/or jewelry industry is a big plus
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Communications, Marketing or combination of education and work-related experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience listing and managing products on E-Commerce platforms
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency with all of Amazon's paid marketing solutions

Designer / Product Development

At Cousin, our team is energetic, dedicated and passionate. The newest addition to this great team will be a new designer to help us develop unique, trend right product. The ideal candidate has a great attitude, is extremely creative, and understands the product development process.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct extensive market research to identify emerging trends
  • Interpret trends and how they will translate to the gift market
  • Work with the Creative Lead on development and execution of product designs that achieve overall product strategy and merchandise objectives
  • Understand and uphold design's aesthetic intent
  • Create story boards and presentations
  • Coordinate and leverage internal design capabilities with vendor partners while focusing on speed to market
  • Operate with a working knowledge of the development process and how it relates to product development timelines
  • Send development packages to overseas partners and sample facilities
  • Initiate and keep track of status of material and sample requests and approvals, and alert management of exceptions
  • Responsible for daily communication with overseas vendors
  • Support the review of prototypes to meet product development timeline milestones with a focus on product execution, consistency of details, and target margin
  • Execute, update and maintain necessary product development tools (such as Spec Sheets, Milestone Charts, and New Product Templates)
  • Demonstrate understanding of costing implications as they relate to the product development process and manage development costs, packaging costs, and final costs
  • Communicate with merchandising team on any product related updates or corrections made
  • Build effective relationships with key customers, vendors and internal partners in the Creative, Merchandising, Sales, Marketing and Production departments to promote collaboration and ensure product design requirements are developed, communicated and implemented
Desired Skills
  • Ability to design concepts that are consumer focused to meet the needs of the retail customer
  • Must have a high degree of proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Programs
  • Experience in working with overseas manufacturers and vendors to develop innovative products is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multitask
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills with superb attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to interact in a positive manner with others within various levels of the organization
  • Must be able to perform in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Able to work the scheduled shift
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally and obtain a US Passport
Education / Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of product design and/or illustration experience with a retailer or manufacturer (experience in fashion jewelry or accessories product development is a plus!)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
